Money Magazine’s Best Places to Live: Flower Mound # 4 and Frisco #19

by | Jun 9, 2022 | Special Team's Report | 0 comments

Have you seen Money magazine’s best place to live list? I always enjoy perusing this list, and low and behold, Flower Mound and Frisco, Texas were on it at Number 4 and Number 19 Best Places to Live named by Money Magazine in the United States!

Nestled between Grapevine Lake and Lewisville Lake, Flower Mound is a gem in the Dallas Fort Worth real estate market. The Town of Flower Mound derived its name from a hill that had an unusual amount of wildflowers on it! The town rises 650 feet above sea level, and it stands 50 feet above the surrounding countryside. Flower Mound being rated No. 4, is no surprise due to its location to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, its family-oriented atmosphere, its highly rated schools, its selection of faith-based organizations, and community organizations. Its amenities include every store you can think of, as well as all the trendy restaurants in indoor and outdoor shopping settings. Flower Mound boasts many natural amenities including parks, playgrounds, marinas, campgrounds, and miles of walking and biking trails near the lakes. And of course, not to mention, Flower Mound has its variety of family-friendly neighborhoods, established communities, with home styles suited to all budgets and lifestyles, as well as new home construction communities to choose from.

Here’s the article from Money magazine on Flower Mound: Flower Mound, Texas is No. 4 on Money’s Best Places to Live list

I personally live in Flower Mound and have called it home for 16 years. My children went through the highly-rated Lewisville ISD school system, and enjoyed all the activities and sports programs offered by Flower Mound HS! Lewisville ISD is rated the number 13 independent school district according to Niche.com https://www.niche.com/k12/search/best-school-districts/m/dallas-fort-worth-metro-area/.

I have key insights into the neighborhoods and areas that can best suit you and your family’s home architectural preferences, must-haves, your lifestyle, and budget. I also have information on how best to refinance or take advantage of your current home equity to help you move due to life changes or additions to the family!

Another Texas town, Frisco, is named No. 19 on Money Magazine’s Best Places to Live list. Frisco is also another area with which I am quite familiar. It is located north of Dallas and it’s a newer community built with many amenities and planned with families in mind! It has an expansive sports complex called The Star where the Dallas Cowboys practice and includes restaurants, shops and wine bars, as well as a community water park at Rider’s Field, where the Frisco Rough Riders play. The FC Dallas soccer team and several Frisco high school teams play at the Toyota Stadium also located in Frisco. Frisco is also home to the National Soccer Hall of Fame. The shopping is endless with 9 million square feet of retail space including restaurants that suit every taste! Featuring more than 70 miles of trails, Frisco offers hikers, bikers, runners and walkers plenty of pathways to explore. There is plentiful art and culture in Frisco including the Texas Sculpture Garden. A visit to Frisco would not be complete without learning about Frisco’s rich history at the Frisco Heritage Museum, standing alongside “Big Boy” at the Museum of the American Railroad or playing Pong on the world’s largest home Pong console at the National Videogame Museum.

Frisco offers homes in many beautiful, planned communities with both large and small homes situated in the number 5 rated independent school district by Niche.com; Frisco ISD. https://www.niche.com/k12/search/best-school-districts/m/dallas-fort-worth-metro-area/
