I remember when I looked forward to the summer season. My three boys would finish the school year and I looked forward to our family vacations and summer activities. Now, as an empty-nester, summer just seems like a busy time of the year. Do you feel the same way? I really think it’s time to take a trip, enjoy some summer fun and recharge your batteries!
For two years now, my family has been planning a summer reunion and I can’t wait! In July I am going to travel to the Oregon Coast and hang out at the beach! My husband and kids will all be there as will my parents, brothers and sisters, and their families. I am so excited!
At this stage of my life, I need to be intentional about the special times and moments with friends and family. I work hard and spend my days finding new ways to help my clients and I also need that time with family. If I have one word of encouragement for you today, please find time to get away with your family. Life passes us by quickly and those times you spend with your family can be so special.
